The Jackie Palmer Agency
Established in 1971 we offer representation to child artistes (ages 3 – 16) and young performers (ages 16 – 21) in all aspects of the entertainment industry. Primarily our clients work in Television, Film and Theatre (please click current news for examples of recent work). The Agency promotes our clients to casting opportunities and negotiates contracts on their behalf, in return we take commission of 15%. All our clients must appear in the Spotlight Children or Young Performers directory. This is a casting directory used by production teams and casting directors to source child artists for their productions.
CHILD ARTISTS (3 – 16 years old):
If you reside in Buckinghamshire you must firstly attend the Jackie Palmer Stage School, you would then be offered automatic entry onto the Agency. If you are not local you can apply directly to the Agency by sending your CV and photo to the address opposite. We accept postal submissions only, email applications will be deleted unopened.
YOUNG PERFORMERS (16 – 21 years old):
Young performers are classed as 16 – 21 year olds in full time education who are considering a career in the entertainment industry. A young performer is off licensing and would be expected to travel to auditions and jobs on their own, the agency would deal with them direct and not through parents. Currently if you attend the Jackie Palmer Stage School you have automatic entry onto the agency (this is under review and likely to change in 2008). As with child artistes if you are not local to the School please apply directly to the Agency by post with your CV and photo.
